“SHIN-ONSAI” to be held in a circuit format, first announcements include Takkyu Ishino, Keiichi Sogabe, and Sora Kimijima

The music festival “SHIN-ONSAI 2024 – the Circuit -” will be held in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo on Saturday, November 30th.

“SHIN-ONSAI” is an urban music festival that was started in 2018 by Shinjuku Ward to promote the charms of the area and provide many people with a meaningful cultural experience. Based on the concept of “cultural chaos and refinement” in Shinjuku, the center of avant-garde culture that has always produced the latest and most progressive expressions in various fields such as music, theater, and art, the festival features an alternative and diverse lineup, a convenient venue location, and reasonable ticket prices.

This year, the 6th time the event has been held, the Shinjuku Cultural Center, which was the main venue until last year, is closed for a long period of time, so the event will be held in a circuit version that will move around 5 locations, including live houses around Kabukicho. The first lineup includes 18 groups, including Ishino Takkyu, eastern youth, Sogabe Keiichi, Maeno Kenta, Sakiyama Soushi, Kimijima Sora, MONO NO AWARE, Pasokon Ongaku Club, Oni no Migude, Kitamura Fuki, and Yamafutatsu. More groups will be added in the future, and the final lineup is expected to be around 30 groups.

Advance ticket sales will begin today at noon through a lottery system.
