Soulflex releases new single “Ego / Lifted” today, their first in three years

Soulflex released their new single “Ego / Lifted” today, Wednesday, August 28th.

Soulflex is an artist collective consisting of 11 members including musicians, photographers, and painters. This is the first release under the name Soulflex and the first song by the three vocalists Ma-Nu, SIRUP, and ZIN in about three years. With a heavy groove that assimilates soul and funk, this conscious and dance-inducing work sings about the theme of “the difference/dilemma between yourself and the self that others see and want you to be.”

The artwork was done by hitch, a painter and member of the Soulflex crew.
