TOSH, an Okinawa-born and -resident singer-songwriter, released his new single “don’t you dare” today, August 28th (Wednesday). The lyric video was also released.
TOSH, who started his activities in 2020, has attracted attention for his musicality that crosses various genres such as alternative, R&B, pop, and indie rock based on rock. His second EP “Something’s Wrong” released in 2022 was selected/covered by overseas media and Spotify’s official playlist “Edge!”, and last year he also held live performances overseas in Mongolia, Korea, Taiwan, etc.
This is the second work of 2024 following the single “LET IT GO” released in July. It is an edgy dance rock tune that is influenced by mid-2000s alternative rock, and was produced by himself. The lyric video is a visual work that expresses the theme of the song, “an oppressed world.”
They will also be the opening act for “HORIPRO × Live Natalie Presents “Baby Steps. -3rd step-” to be held at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on Thursday, August 29th. KIRINJI and indigo la End will also be performing at the event.
