The music video for the track “feeldown” from Sarasa’s new album “Golden Child,” which will be released on Wednesday, September 4th, was released today.
Sarasa’s solo performance at Shibuya WWW X in Tokyo in December of last year was also sold out in one day. She is steadily expanding the scale of her activities, including an appearance at the Philippine festival “ASIYA” in October this year, where AAA, consisting of Balming Tiger and HYUKOH & Sunset Rollercoaster, and 9m88 will also be performing.
The music video for “feeldown” was directed by creative director haru. (HUG). It is a stop-motion style video that includes familiar scenes that evoke everyday life and a depiction of Sarasa popping out a star motif from her mouth, and the mysterious expressions stimulate the imagination.
This song, which was released in advance in October last year, is a mid-tempo song reminiscent of 90’s R&B. Based on a Latin vibe, it is sprinkled with the essence of the music that Sarasa has experienced. The track was created by Kota Matsukawa of the creative collective/label wau, who also worked on many of the songs on the EP “Nail Island” and the album “Inner Ocean”.
Sarasa will also be holding a tour to promote her latest album starting in September. Tickets for each performance are already limited. Be sure to check them out.
