The double single “Get Down” by audiot909 and MÖSHI was released today, Wednesday, August 28th.

Producer audiot909, who pursues Japanese amapiano, and rapper MÖSHI, who joined the creative collective wau, attracted attention with their first album “JAPANESE AMAPIANO” released at the end of last year. This collaborative work between the two is a floor banger that connects UK funky, amapiano, Afrobeats, experimental, and house music in a straight line, with MÖSHI’s rap that incites the floor to frenzy while hiding a coolness. What I wanted to express was an unknown Afro sound with rapidly changing rhythms.
And that feeling when you’re on the dance floor, dancing like crazy.
Using Afro and Amapiano as keywords, I created a song that explores new possibilities in dance music and Japanese rap.

When I first heard this track, which was produced based on audiot909’s deep knowledge of African music and dance music, I was instantly inspired. I remember being so engrossed in it that I had roughly written the lyrics the next day. It’s only because there’s someone like him who understands the essence of the context of the genre and weaves it together that the song gradually takes shape.
I wrote the lyrics for this track that transcends genre boundaries, reflecting my own experiences up to now.
This time, I also produced the artwork. The moment when various genres collide and new music is born on the dance floor. I expressed that image in an abstract collage.
I think this piece will bring about some small change in the workplace. Please listen to it and dance to it.
