Special broadcast by Kenji Ozawa x Suchadara Parr. Looking back on the 90s and the behind-the-scenes stories of “LIFE” with guests

The 2-hour special program “J-WAVE SPECIAL PLAY IT BACK, BOOGIE BACK!” featuring lively discussions between Kenji Ozawa and Schadaarapa will be broadcast from 18:00 to 19:55 on Friday, May 3rd (holiday).

From April 1st to May 10th, J-WAVE (81.3FM) will be running a spring campaign called “PLAY IT BACK, BOOGIE” that will share timeless music, words, and stories from the past, present, and future. BACK!” is in progress. Kenji Ozawa and Sucha Dara Par are in charge of the campaign song and jingle. Thirty years after the release of the 90’s anthem “Tonight wa Boogie Back,” the two groups teamed up again for exclusive airplay of their new song “Boogie, Baku, Baby,” as well as original tin badges designed by the two groups. The event is attracting a lot of attention through its giveaways and other events.

This special program will feature a discussion between Kenji Ozawa, who was in charge of the campaign song, and Sucha Dara Parr. They will look back and talk about their memories of the 90’s anthem “Tonight is Boogie Back,” the behind-the-scenes story behind the production of the campaign song “Boogie Baku Baby,” and the jingles and original badges created for the campaign.

In addition, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of the masterpiece “LIFE”, which also includes “Tonight wa Boogie Back”, a one-night-only event will be held at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on August 31st (Saturday), which is also the release anniversary. Kenji Ozawa has announced that he will be holding a reenactment live performance of “LIFE” (sponsored by J-WAVE). The special program will feature four guests from Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra who are also recording members of “LIFE”: NARGO, Masahiko Kitahara, GAMO, and Okisukeichi. He will talk with Kenji Ozawa and Bose about his memories of the 90’s and the nostalgic story about the masterpiece “LIFE”, which was a masterpiece of the 90’s and featured Ska Para.
