iri premieres music video for latest single “Swamp” – her first collaboration with Takuto Shinbo in about 5 and a half years

The music video for iri’s latest single “Swamp,” released on Wednesday, August 14th, will premiere at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29th.

“Swamp” was written as the theme song for the TV Asahi Thursday drama “Sky Castle,” which airs every Thursday from 9:00 p.m. The music video was produced by teaming up with Takuto Shinbo, who also directed the group’s signature song “Wonderland,” for the first time in about five and a half years. Set in a house, the video features iris appearing gigantic, the sofa starting to move, and even flying in the sky, resulting in a surreal visual. The video also incorporates a mysterious situation where reality and illusion intersect, which is consistent with the worldview of the lyrics.
