Reina, TRIPPYHOUSING and others appear in the second installment of WWW & wau's co-hosted project "nem"

With their sharp individuality, historical perspective, and creations that make us imagine the future, the collective wau, which is drawing the narrative of the independent scene of the 2020s with its ever-accelerating activities, will hold the second volume of the event “WWW & wau presents nem” in collaboration with WWW at Shibuya WWW & WWWβ on Wednesday, October 16th.

At WWW, reina, whose EP “A Million More” received high praise and who successfully held her first solo live at Omotesando WALL & WALL in May, will perform with the wau Band Set. Also appearing will be TRIPPYHOUSING, a unit consisting of three solo artists, Skaai, yuya saito (yonawo), and Alex Stevens. At WWWβ, Sakepnk, who has been actively working since releasing his EP “R24A” this year, will feature Daz, MÖSHI, MK woop, and others.

“nem” was held last year and became a big topic of discussion. This time, a sequel, Vol. 2, has been decided to be held amid growing expectations. With a critical and cool view of history and the passion that leads the current scene, it will be a valuable night that captures the “now” of wau, which continues to transform brilliantly.

Attention will also be focused on how they will edit and present both club music and band music, which have been gaining popularity in recent years. In addition to the existence of wau as a collective, this will also be a valuable opportunity to think about communities and relationships in the current independent music scene, such as the reality of TRIPPYHOUSING, which began as a communal living arrangement by the three members.
