Yunovation to release their first new album in four years, “Me, Expanding” The theme is “Expanding Me”

Yunovation’s new EP, “Me, Expanding,” will be released on 10-inch record by ATM REC.

ATM REC is a 10-inch record label that was started with the aim of leaving behind a tangible record of high-quality works in the age of streaming, lowering the hurdles for artists who want to release on vinyl, and providing an option for artists who are unsure of the release format. To date, they have released works by artists such as Kokushi Musou, lulu + Mikeneko Homeless, and mirrorball inferno.

This sixth release is an EP by Yunovation, who composes music and performs live using the keyboard harmonica, with the theme of “Expanding Me.” This is the first release in about four years since “into the sunlight” (2020). This is the first physical release in about five years since the mini-album “Rakrakani” released in 2019.

The album contains a total of four tracks, including a signature instrumental track with a keyboard harmonica as the main instrument, a vocal track, and a track that sublimates elements of UK dance music through Yunovation’s filter. The album is aimed at everyone from the dance floor to home listening. The master disc was created in a cutting studio in Tokyo in the presence of the artist, and Yunovation pursued the sound they wanted to express.

The artwork is the work of manga artist and illustrator Tsuchika Nishimura, whose work “The Concierge of the Arctic Department Store” was made into an animated film last year, and the design was done by KMI, who has also worked on artwork and merchandise design for Negicco and Pasokon Ongaku Club.

Currently, pre-orders are being accepted on the ATM REC EC site. Those who pre-order will receive a DL code for the song as a bonus. Since it is a small batch press, those who are interested should check it out early.
