BTS’ RM and Megan Thee Stallion announce collaboration

BTS’s RM and American rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s collaboration song “Neva Play (feat. RM)” will be released on Friday, September 6th at 13:00 (Japan time).

Megan Thee Stallion announced the release of her new song on social media at 0:00 on Tuesday, September 2nd, and posted a comment saying, “This is one of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard from RM. This is the first time I’ve heard him rap in this style.”

The cover image of the new song, released on the same day, features RM and Megan Thee Stallion in a cartoon style.

BTS and Megan Thee Stallion first collaborated on the single “Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)” released in 2021, and in November of the same year, Megan Thee Stallion made a surprise appearance at “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE-LA” held at SoFi Stadium in LA. Together they sang “Butter”.
