Kobe-based rapper hyunis1000 released his third album, “stepping rhyme boi/spiritual homeland,” today, Wednesday, September 4th.
Born in 2000, hyunis1000 is active as a unit called Neibiss with his partner Ratiff, and as producers/DJs caroline and MP5. This work features one song each from shobbieconz, who is also known as a live DJ/producer for Campanella, and DJ PANASONIC from Osaka’s SIT0 Records. The other seven songs are self-produced by hyunis1000.
The first three tracks are floor-conscious dance tunes (=stepping rhyme boi) that incorporate elements of fast reggaeton, Afro and dancehall, while the following six tracks are either a new interpretation of trap that is conscious of his “spiritual homeland” or simply filled with hyunis1000’s summer memories, making them a work that reflects who he is today.
