FALLING ASLEEP released their new single “SUPERNOVA” today, Wednesday, September 4th.
FALLING ASLEEP has evolved from their metal and lyric hardcore period to a borderless, hybrid musical style that fuses a wide range of genres such as rock, R&B, electro, and alternative. This work was produced by Hiroki (Gt.), and by being conscious of minimalist sound usage based on a grand sound, it is a song that takes a “J-ROCK” and “J-POP” approach that is a little different from FALLING ASLEEP’s previous works. Furthermore, by adding contrast to the development, it has an iconic sound.
The lyrics by vito (Vo.) are about the sadness of unresolved love and unrequited retribution. It is a new lyric song from FALLING ASLEEP that evokes the fragmented memories of time that suddenly cross the listener’s mind in the midst of everyday life.
