Yogi & Kakudate Kengo Two-Man Nagoya Quattro 35th Anniversary × Bayon Label 10th Anniversary Collaboration Project

A collaborative event, “NAGOYA CLUB QUATTRO 35th Anniversary “rendezvous”,” a commemorative project celebrating the 35th anniversary of the opening of NAGOYA CLUB QUATTRO in Aichi, and “STILL BAYON,” a 10th anniversary project by Bayon label, will be held on Saturday, September 28th.

“Rendezvous,” which began in June this year, has featured notable performances such as STUTS x COSA x Campanella, Petrols x Kaneko Ayano, Skirt x Machiura Pink, DYGL x betcover!!, and Sunny Day Service x Shibata Satoko.

The lineup is based on the theme of “fate” at Nagoya Quattro, and includes artists who have been performing at Quattro since the venue’s opening, as well as artists from Nagoya and artists who are making their first appearance. Among them is Fairground Attraction, a British artist who performed at the venue’s opening on June 29, 1989. The legendary band disbanded in 1990 after releasing only one album, but this time they were offered to perform at Nagoya Quattro’s 35th anniversary, leading to a miraculous reunion. They performed on the same day as the venue’s opening, which drew a lot of attention.

On June 29, 1989, “Fairground Attraction” opened the Nagoya Club Quattro.
I have encountered countless pieces of music and shared just as many happy moments here.
35 years have passed since then, and on the same day, June 29th, Fairground Attraction will be returning with its original members.
In the world of live music venues, dreamlike events beyond imagination certainly exist.
The title “rendezvous” originally comes from French and means “a rendezvous” or “an appointment to meet.”
In space, the same word is used to describe two spacecraft in different orbits matching up and approaching each other.
It is my sincere hope that such happy coincidences, like this dramatic reunion after 35 years, will continue for the next generation.

This will be a collaborative event with Bayon, which also represents never young beach and DAN, and will be a rare and special performance featuring a two-man live show by Yogee New Waves, who are performing live for the first time in over a year, and their frontman, Kakudate Kengo.
