Sato Moka to release 5th album “ERA” and hold Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka tour

It has been announced that Sato Moka will release her new album “ERA” on Friday, October 30th.

Since the long-running hit of her signature song “melt bitter,” Sato Moka has expanded her activities to include writing lyrics for NewJeans and providing songs to other artists. This is her first album in about three years since her previous album “WOOLLY” (2021), and her fifth album overall. It will include a total of 14 songs, including “Peach Perfect,” the ending theme for the NHK Okayama Broadcasting Station’s evening news program “mogitate!”.

The album, titled “ERA,” which means “era,” is said to be a work that is packed with the conflicts and changes in her state of mind that Sato Moka herself is currently feeling as she turned 30 this year. The new artist visual and album artwork were both created by photographer Kawashima Kotori.

In addition, a release tour of this work will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. It will be a solo performance in the form of a band set led by Okayama band Speech Balloon, who also participated in the recording of the album. Advance ticket sales for fan club members have started from today.
