OZworld announces release of EP “UTAGE2.5” featuring Red Eye, Jimesagi, Hiiragi and others

It has been announced that OZworld will release their new EP “UTAGE2.5” on Friday, September 13th.

In addition to his work as a hip-hop artist, OZworld is a producer of an apparel/jewelry brand, an NFT producer, a member of a professional e-Sports team, and many other roles, and is active in a variety of fields. This work contains remixes of popular songs from his third album “SUN NO KUNI,” released last September, with the participation of many guest artists.

The lineup includes Red Eye, who made headlines when he announced that he would be the youngest hip-hop artist to perform at the Budokan, as well as talented rappers such as MIYACHI and Jinmenusagi, local Okinawan artists such as CHOUJI and Hiiragito, and even artists who are not usually seen together, such as SO-SO, who has won the world human beatboxing championship.
A wide range of artists are participating, from artists from the mainstream scene to those from outside the mainstream scene.

At the same time, he will hold solo concerts at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on Monday, November 4th (national holiday) and at Zepp Osaka Bayside on Sunday, December 8th. This will be his first solo concert at Zepp, and will be his largest to date.

The performance, titled “UTAGE,” will be the culmination of hip-hop artist OZworld’s activities, and will also be an event that embodies “UTAGE,” a celebration of bright hope in these uncertain times. Advance tickets will go on sale today at 7 p.m.

All the songs on this album are remixes, but I think that each song and the participating artists have done a good job of expanding the story of the original song.
Production for our next album is already nearing completion, but our third album and this EP are all part of an epic story that continues on to the next album, which is currently in production, so come experience it as one flow from the head to the tail of the dragon!
