SALU will release his new single “PICTURE PERFECT feat. Novel Core” on Friday, September 13th.
Last year, he released his all-time best album “IN MY ARMS” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his major debut, and since then he has released collaborative songs with SKOLOR, lil soft tennis, and DJ LEAD & Chinito2800, but this is his first new song release under his own name in about two years.
This reboot will feature guest appearances by SKY-HI’s management/label label BMSG.Novel CoreParticipating in the song. The song is based on lo-fi hip-hop, with a mix of city and techno sounds, and the melodic flow of the two is a comfortable up-tempo number. The lyrics also incorporate the thoughts of the two on their past lives and the conflicts they have had, and the song is a message to paint the picture of life as you like without regrets, making it a song of encouragement.
This is a dream collaboration between SALU, who has been at the forefront of the hip-hop scene, and Novel Core, who are currently making waves in the scene. It looks set to be a worthy restart and much talked about work.
