TAIKING to release “Day Life” featuring iri as the third installment of his collaboration song series

It has been announced that TAIKING will release his new single “Day Life (feat. iri)” on Wednesday, October 9th.

TAIKING is the guitarist of Suchmos and is a versatile performer who supports other artists in their live shows. His solo project began a collaboration song series in June, and this is the third installment. His latest collaborator is Shota Araya (ex. yonawo) and YONCE (Suchmos).iriTAIKING has previously participated as a support guitarist in iri’s live tours and festivals, and the two, who have a close relationship, wrote this song specifically for the “niko and …” 2024 Autumn/Winter brand movie.

The brand video features brand ambassadors Takumi Kitamura and Kaya Kiyohara. The lip-syncing of their conversation with the song creates a playful video. The lyrics for the song “Day Life” were written by TAIKING and iri. The lo-fi and chill sound is a song that blends naturally into people’s lives.

In addition, a winter-themed arranged version of the song will also be released exclusively in the brand movie at a later date.
