Shingo Suzuki’s solo project LYPS’ first live performance features guest appearances by Ruike Shinpei and Nenashi

The special guest for Shingo Suzuki LYPS 1st LIVE “Liquid Yellow Portraits” to be held at COTTON CLUB Marunouchi, Tokyo on Tuesday, October 1st has been announced.

Shingo Suzuki, also known as the bassist of Ovall, launched “LYPS (Liquid Yellow Portraits)” in May this year as a new solo project in which artists who resonate with his music take turns creating the sound. So far, three singles have been released: “You don’t know (what life is) feat. Kojoe, Ruri Matsumura”, “Backwards”, and “All in your palms”.

The concert will feature a piano trio with Shota Watanabe (Pf.) and Masato Mori (Dr.), as well as special guests trumpeter Shinpei Ruike and labelmate singer Nenashi.

In addition, it has been decided that all attendees will receive two unreleased tracks as a gift: the demo version of “Backwards,” which retains the raw feel of the song before it was arranged, and a remix of the popular song “Flower Dance.”
