It has been announced that Tagaru will release the instrumental album “Fujisawa 2021” on Sunday, September 15th.
This work was inspired by Dengaryu’s beloved city of Fujisawa and was produced around 2021, but was left unreleased. In 2021, Dengaryu visited Fujisawa City in Kanagawa Prefecture many times for research. The seaside city produces characters with more character than you would expect (such as Kyo-nii), the zombies who gather at that club who try to crush you by making you drink tequila to death – the number of historical buildings that do not fit in with such people at all, the crazy skaters and surfers, the slam dunks, the city and scenery that stimulate your curiosity the more you dig, and before you know it, 13 memories of songs have been quietly completed like shells rolling on the shore. It is said to be the definitive work for “while doing BGM” such as driving or walking.
In 2024, the songs that had been forgotten due to the fast flow of the days were remembered and mixed by Dengaryu himself. Furthermore, the album was finally recorded through mastering by engineer Naoya Tokuno. The photo of the artwork was taken by photographer Toki Amemiya, who accompanied the first interview and sang Yutaka Ozaki’s songs at karaoke.
Also, grooveman Spot and others have been confirmed to appear at the October Tohoku performance of the currently ongoing solo tour “En”. Check it out.
