MFS, ASOUND and others appear at WWW & MONK’s street festival “MONKWORKBASE”

“MONKWORKBASE”, an event by MONK, a street collective active mainly in Chiba and Tokyo, and WWW in Shibuya, Tokyo, will be held at WWW & WWWβ on Tuesday, November 19th.

MONK has been embodying not only music but also the next generation of youth culture through graphic designers, illustrators, skateboard crews, etc. Following the first event, which had admission restrictions even though it was a weekday, the headliners for this second event are MFS and ASOUND.

Other upcoming live acts include It-Works, ziproom, ido kyo, KEYTOTHECITY, and more. The DJ lineup will also include Wide Escapes, Shoma fr. dambosound, and other frontline performers in Tokyo’s club scene.

There will also be a booth for the popular street brand OPTICALSTAR, video premieres for skateboard crews cut skateboards, kizukush, and dhukushi_da, and a WOLTZ exhibit will be held at the venue, as well as YAMAPIZZA food. This will be a festival that only WWW and MONKWORKBASE can offer, with a diverse range of street attitudes.
