Pop-up by CarService x Manhattan Reocrds takes place this weekend

CarService Records, a collaboration pop-up store between CarService and Manhattan Reocrds, will be held at Manhattan Reocrds SHIBUYA in Tokyo on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th.

CarService is a product label that promotes the fusion of culture and fashion and proposes items inspired by the various cultures surrounding automobiles, and Manhattan Reocrds has been a leader in record culture for over 40 years since its founding in 1980. This collaboration, which was launched in conjunction with the store’s exterior renovation, features T-shirts with a reggae-inspired graphic of an old wagon equipped with a sound system, as well as original wheel designs from CarService and IMLA Wheels. Both companies offer unique products such as slip mats and CarService Records air fresheners.

The designs for the T-shirts and air fresheners were hand-drawn by Kaleido (Sound’s Deli), a rapper who works for Manhattan Records.

In addition, the visual aspects supervised by include stills and movies with a car wash theme. The photography was done by SAEKA SHIMADA, and the models include RINA, SAKURA, KANAE, and very lue.
