TuneCore Japan has launched “Rework with Cute Sorry,” a collaboration with the popular music creator unit HoneyWorks, as the second installment of “Rework with,” an initiative to support artists/creators through secondary creation.
In the first part of this project, which was carried out last year, he collaborated with Yo Ichisei and performed “Rework with Hanamizuki” on the famous song “Hanamizuki”. Many artists/creators participated, and some viral songs were born from among the works released by the project, including a drill remix by rapper Albert Connor that entered Spotify’s domestic viral chart “Viral 50 – Japan.”
This time, we will introduce a hit song by HoneyWorks that won the number 1 spot on the annual Billboard JAPAN “TikTok Songs Chart” in 2023 and attracted attention around the world, with many K-Pop artists posting dance videos not only in Japan but also on social media. Provides paradata for “I’m sorry for being cute”. Music artists/creators can use the paradata to create secondary creations such as singing, rapping, remixing, instrument sessions, sampling, etc. Furthermore, the secondary creation songs can be distributed and released for free through TuneCore Japan, and songs released by distribution using the same paradata can monetize 50% of the distribution revenue.Detail isSpecial siteCheck it out.
[HoneyWorks comment]
HoneyWorks is from NicoNico Douga, so I grew up being exposed to the culture of derivative works, so I’m very happy to be approached for such a fun project.
I’m looking forward to meeting various talents through “Cute and Sorry.”
