WMJ participates in “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024” for the first time, headliner is Chanmina

Warner Music Japan will be participating for the first time in “Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2024” which will be held at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo from April 19th (Friday) to 21st (Sunday).

“Tokyo Rainbow Pride” is one of the largest LGBTQ-related events in Asia, with approximately 240,000 visitors last year. It promotes the existence of sexual minorities, including LGBTQ, in society and celebrates the “diversity of sexuality and life.” Warner Music Japan decided to participate in this event because it wants to share the music and presence of famous contracted artists with visitors and contribute to “realizing a world where everyone can live as they are.”

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event, and the theme of “Tokyo Rainbow Pride” is “We won’t give up until we change.” During the event, Chanmina, a WMJ contracted artist who has received a lot of attention both domestically and internationally, will be performing live as the headliner on the venue’s “Pride Stage.”

In addition, at the same venue’s “Pride Festival”, the message that Warner Music Group contracted artists send as Ally on a daily basis, “Achieving a world where everyone can live as they are,” and their presence will be felt closer. For this purpose, we set up a booth for the first time.Album at the booth“Radical Optimism”In order to promote the global group’s representative Ally artist Dua Lipa, who is about to be released, we will set up a photo corner where you can recreate the artwork of the work, and distribute trading cards limited to Rainbow Pride.
