The collaborative single “Where to go Complete” by kou-kei, Riku Oshima, and Mell Owell was released today, September 28th (Saturday).
This work also attracted attention for its collaborative single with kou-kei, a rapper from Saga who currently lives in Kanagawa, Riku Oshima, a beat maker/singer/rapper known for his collaborations with Qugo and QN, and Umeda Cipher’s KZ. A co-written number by beat maker Mell Owell. The theme is the struggle of searching for one’s future and trying to find the next path in the midst of confusion, and the sound features a floating beat centered on Mell Owell’s boom-bap. On top of that, the song is a combination of kou-kei’s sharp rap and Riku Oshima’s melodious flow with a sophisticated groove.
Mixing and mastering were handled by kou-kei and Riku Oshima, and artwork was handled by kou-kei. This is the first collaboration between kou-kei and Riku Oshima, who have been releasing new songs for three consecutive months, in about three years since “This Love” was released in 2021.
