summercomesagain, a project by the frontman of Korean indie band AKUA, comes to Japan

It has been decided that summercomesagain, a new project band led by Jae Yeon Hwang, the frontman of the Korean indie band AKUA, will perform in Japan.

Hwang Jae-young has performed in Japan with AKUA in the past, and in recent years has been involved in a variety of music activities, including supporting The Black Skirts on tour and working as a recording engineer for Korean indie artists at his own studio.

This performance will be held at Shimokitazawa LIVE HAUS in Tokyo on June 19th (Wednesday), Chofu CROSS on June 22nd (Saturday), and an after-sales event at Koenji SUB STORE on June 23rd (Sunday), the final day of the tour. A party is also held. It will be a short 3-day tour only in Tokyo.

On June 19th (Wednesday), tour management company will be holding an exclusive project, and New German Cinema, the solo project of Jessica from Fear Of Men, who is visiting Japan from London, England, will suddenly appear as a guest. It will be a night of fusion of Asian and European post-punk, new wave, and shoegaze.

June 22nd (Saturday) is a joint project between Balsin and Rhyming Slang, which promotes and supports Korean artists, and aims to be an event that supports Japan-Korea music exchange from an underground perspective. This performance will only be sold through LivePocket, and a 6-song demo tape of “Balsin zine” and summercomesagain will be included as a pre-order bonus.
