It has been announced that Kimino Orpheus will release their new single “Chiller, Chiller” on October 9th (Wednesday).
In 2020, Kimino Orpheus participated in the BE:FIRST audition “BMSG Audition 2021 -THE FIRST” as a voice trainer and Mr. Ant, and became a hot topic for his strict yet loving guidance. This is his first new song in about two years since his 2022 album “Kumoma no Hikari” and was created in collaboration with Yuta Shibuya (ISAFAT, ex-sui sui duck).
A story about a brief cooling-off period that begins with the phrase “Enough is enough” during a verbal quarrel between lovers. The impressive phrase “Enough is enough” is the beginning of a fight between selling words and buying words. The hook then uses the word “chiller”, which means a cooling device, to convey the feeling of “flickeringly” worrying about the other person. It is said that the real and tight story of the two people will unfold over a chill hip-hop track.
Furthermore, on Wednesday, December 4th, it has been decided that the band will be holding a full-band live performance with an audience for the first time in five years at WALL & WALL in Omotesando, Tokyo. Check them out as well.
[Kimino Orpheus Comment]
This time, it was my first time collaborating with Yuta Shibuya, also known as ISAFAT. I feel that through a combination of coincidence and fate, I was able to meet this wonderful artist.
Shibuya-kun’s ideas were incorporated into the lyrics and melody that I had written, and I was continually surprised and happy. I feel like I just relaxed and had a few drinks while writing songs, and I just laughed.

The lyrics are clippings of small scenes from everyday life, but they’re rap-like and melody-like.
It’s finished as a poem, and I particularly like the phrase, “If enough is enough, it’s enough.”
When a fight ends with “enough,” I feel disappointed, like a broken Jenga game, about the long time we’ve been arguing up until that point, and the meaning we’ve come up against even though we’re both exhausted. I’ll put it away. Even so, I end up checking the other person’s movements on SNS, and I end up looking at them even though I don’t want to. I was curious and flickered. This is a song that I would like people to listen to while imagining the cool autumn air and chilly night breeze.
