4s4ki will release their new EP “Collective Obsession” today, October 4th (Friday). At the same time, the music video for the song “Aishite because I’m a hard worker” was released.
This work is based on the concept of “I want to brag about my friends!” and has the same theme as the album “Your Dreamland” (2020), which was a collaboration with various artists. The collaborators include DÉ DÉ MOUSE, RhymeTube, rinahamu, NUU$HI, Eijun Suganami (THE BACK HORN), and maeshima soshi, and the piano-loving “Esper Elementary School Student” and the 3vs3 arena battle shooting game “PARAVOX” will be inserted. A total of four songs are included, including the autobiographical song “rEiNsTaLL,” which can be called a sequel to “Sishuen” and “LOG OUT” (included in “Killer in Neverland” released in 2022).
The music video for “Love me because you’re a hard worker” has RhymeTube as the track maker/producer, their first collaboration in 6 years, and rinahamu, who has also performed as a guest on “NEXUS” from “Omae Dreamland”. One song that was a guest performance. Lyric focuses on “ADHD,” which has become a popular word these days. ADHD refers to a developmental disorder, and although awareness of the term is spreading among the general public, it cannot be said that there is still a deep understanding of the problem. In this song, ADHD is referred to as “Adhedo”, and by putting the suffering on a track with a catchy melody, it is a work that tackles this problem in a more familiar and pop way. The story is based on the real-life experiences of 4s4ki in a positive way, depicting the struggles of a person with a handicap and not being able to go as planned in daily life.
rinahamu also appears in the music video, which was shot in various locations such as the recording scene, a park, and a kitchen. The video gives a glimpse of the two’s “hard work”.

It’s been a while since I was able to release a complete piece of work!
In the past, I released an album called “Your Dreamland,” and the theme was “bragging about my friends.” This EP also has that vibe, and is an EP that I’m proud of with a lot of my friends. Thank you to everyone involved TT
This work includes a song called “Love me because I’m a hard worker” with rinahamu and RhymeTube.
Actually, I have the developmental disorder ADHD. It’s been a curse since I was born, and I have to be very creative in my daily life. I think it’s because I continue to suffer so much that I can become happy, because as long as I’m doing my best, there’s no way I can’t be happy.
I think the number of people who are suffering from such problems has increased tremendously these days, so I wrote this ADHD song because I thought it would resonate with a lot of people.
It takes a lot of courage to say the name of your disease, but in order to release this song, I think it’s necessary for people to know about me, so I confessed!
I would be happy if everyone could listen to it and apply it to their own things! !

When I went into the studio with 4s4ki, we hit it off with the idea that “the faster the BPM, the better,” and this beat was born. The power word “Psychic Elementary School Student” that came up in a casual conversation that day just became Psychic Elementary School Student. I’m impressed
“I don’t know what you know either.”
is stuck in my heart!
thank you!

Asahamu everyone was waiting for me~?
I’m happy to be able to sing with 4s4ki again after 4 years! !
I’m sure this is for you, a hard worker who is working really hard! ! ! “You did your best!”

Congratulations on your release. It’s been about 7 years since I last performed beat, but it was as unique as ever.
As a side note, I think that OBON’s lyrics “Sukesukesekesukesukebe no pochi pochi” are referring to my dog Konro.

Congratulations on the release of “Collective Obsession”!
When I first saw 4s4ki on stage at Zepp DiverCity, I never dreamed that I would end up making a song with them. However, I still vividly remember being stunned by that overwhelming stage performance.
This was my first time working with 4s4ki, and I was in charge of arranging the bass and drums for a song called “Saishuen” that was created by 4s4ki and Eijun Suganami. It was already very complete from the initial idea stage, so I had a lot of trouble arranging it, but I’m glad it turned out to be a great piece in the end. It’s a cool song full of speed, so I hope everyone will give it a listen!
[Comment from Eijun Suganami (THE BACK HORN)]
I did a guitar arrangement with 4s4ki in the studio, and I thought he had a very keen sense.
It had the perfect balance of delicacy and boldness and was a lot of fun. It’s a cool song that packs a punch.
The dark atmosphere is irresistible…please give it a listen!

Congratulations on your release!
I got the impression that we often make songs together, but this is the first time we’ve worked together on a 4s4ki solo since “Cho 5-Dimension” two years ago.
This work, “rEiNsTaLL,” was completed at an astonishing speed of one month from the start of production in late July, and I felt that something about 4s4ki had clicked with me.
Let’s go beyond “LOG OUT”! We made this together with the goal of, but we probably exceeded it! !
The development of the track is one of the interesting aspects of this song, so I hope you enjoy that as well.
