Reisaburo Adachi and the parallel band OECMZ of delicious water will hold a final gig for one night only

The one-night-only final gig “Awakening Night” by Reisaburo Adachi and OECMZ, a parallel band of delicious water, will be held on November 26th (Tuesday) at Tsukimi Ru Kunsofu in Aoyama, Tokyo.

On the day of the event, Reisaburo Adachi and members of Oishii Mizu will perform live wearing authentic visual kei makeup and costumes. According to Reisaburo Adachi, the leader of the group, this attempt was made with the aim of triggering a change in awareness regarding preconceptions and unconscious prejudice and discrimination.

In conjunction with the performance, a music video directed by video artist Shintaro Tamada featuring members of the visual kei band OECMZ was also released. The song they are playing is a cover arrangement of the famous song “Bebe” by Brazilian music genius Hermeto Pascoal, and it is a familiar song at the band’s live performances.

Tickets for the performance are on sale from today on Tsukimi Ru Kunsofu’s official website. VIP tickets are also available, which come with special photo books and postcards signed by OECMZ members.

“Visual Kei” has never had any connection to me.
When I wrote that, I thought that “I have no connection” was just my own bias. In this world, there should be any possibility, but we arbitrarily decide whether we have a connection or not.
It may not be an exaggeration to say that such prejudice is one of the causes of discrimination, and that it is also the cause of war in this world.
With this thought in mind, the visual kei band “OECMZ” was born as a way of changing consciousness to eliminate prejudice, discrimination, and even war.
