Taiwanese alternative folk band Shallow Levée holds first Japan tour

Shallow Levée, an alternative folk band from Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, will release their best compilation LP “Shallow Lévee BEST COLLECTION” on Big Romantic Records on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Shallow Levée is highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally as a band that actively creates songs in the Taiwanese language and sings pop songs that evoke scenes unique to Taiwan. So far, they have released two EPs and two albums, all of which have been nominated for various awards in Taiwan, making steady progress. This work is a work that sums up their career.

Furthermore, in commemoration of the release of this work, the first Japan tour will be held. In support of the tour, the bands Gusokumuzu, motoki tanaka, and TANGINGUGUN, who are highly praised for their creations that are particular about the sound of Japanese, will appear in various locations. It looks like it’s going to be a night where the songs really sink in.

In addition, Shallow Levée will also appear at “BiKN shibuya 2024” which will be held in the Shibuya area of Tokyo on November 3rd (Sunday).
