luvis' new EP "Blue Inside You" will be released tonight and his first one-man event will be held

Kyoto-born SSW luvis will release their new EP “Blue Inside You” on October 9th (Wednesday).

This is their fourth EP, about a year after their previous album “From Pier”, and contains a total of 5 songs, including the lead singles “Higher” and “Linda.” Returning to his roots in self-production, he is in charge of all the songwriting, playing all instruments, track making, and mixing himself. Mastering was done at Metropolis Studios in the UK, Europe’s largest independent studio. The concept is “the multifaceted ‘blue’ that exists within people,” and his philosophy of the heart, which continues to face “love (LUV),” is delicately and powerfully expressed.

It has also been decided that he will hold his first one-man live at Omotesando WALL & WALL in Tokyo on December 13th (Friday).

In this work, I focused on the blue that exists within people, and explored how to live with it. Blue is an emotion such as sadness and loneliness, and blue is an impulse of youth such as impatience and thirst. I believe that blue, both static and dynamic, is a very important element in moving the heart.

The words “Don’t let our light die” at the end of M5’s “Blue” are what I wanted to convey most through this work. Blue is essential to keeping the flame alive in our hearts. “Blue Inside You” is with blue.
