Party “We Are” by NAGAN SERVER and DANCEMBLE held in November

NAGAN SERVER and DANCEMBLE’s independent project “We Are…” will be held at Yoyogi Uehara OPRCT in Tokyo on Saturday, November 16th.

NAGAN SERVER and DANCEMBLE is a unit centered around rapper/wood bassist NAGAN SERVER, keyboardist TAIHEI (Suchmos), drummer Chino Matsuura, bassist Jinya (DAN), and trumpeter Keiya Terakubo. . Based on the theme of “dance music,” they are attracting attention for their performances that crossover various music such as hip-hop, jazz, breakbeats, house, and techno.

Their party “We Are” is an independent project that started with the desire to “create a social space where people can casually drop in through music.” The words that follow “We Are…” vary from person to person. On top of that, it also has the meaning of aiming for a groove that a diverse range of people can sympathize with.

This time, Nao Yoshioka and Shinsakaino of the new world feat. Tomoaki Baba will appear as artists who will grace the live stage with NAGAN SERVER and DANCEMBLE. Nao Yoshioka is a singer/songwriter who pursues modern musicality while being rooted in the authentic soul he encountered while living in New York. Shinsakaino is a bassist/multi-artist who returned from New York, where he had been based for the past 10 years, in 2022.Tomoaki Baba has also been based in New York for a long time, and after returning to Japan he has been performing in the movie “BLUE GIANT” and releasing a major debut album. He is active in the field.

There are three artists who are home-grown and currently in progress. SHACHO and DJ talowkyn from SOIL & “PIMP” SESSIONS will be participating as DJs, coloring the space with high-quality sound. Additionally, an additional lineup will be announced by the day of the event. From here, a new “life with music” begins.
