ONENESS, 1st album “Original ONES” released tonight & MV released

ONESESS, a hip-hop collective from Heiwajima, Tokyo, will release their first album “Original ONES” on Wednesday, October 23rd.

This work was previously released on CD in September. It is a work that was completed by the members alone, including the rap, beat, and artwork. In the past albums, beats from external beat makers were also used, but in this album, all the beats are produced by Phaze1992. This is a piece of work that shows the spirit of “creating a true hip-hop classic on our own.”

Also, up until now, ONENESS has often been talked about with a focus on boom-bap, but in this work they go beyond that and use beats that have a distinct character in each song. In addition to the southern hip-hop beat that was heard in the lead single “Coin Toss,” there are various types of songs such as “Monkeytime” that incorporates reggae elements and “Turbo” that uses G-funk-like synths. .

The work is said to be a work that presents “True Hip Hop” in a broad sense and is not limited to one style, making the message of ONENESS, which has a reputation as “Hip Hop like hip hop”, more unique than ever before.

The artwork was by Slit Eyed and the photography was by Shota Kumagai. The CD also comes with a 16-page booklet. Additionally, the music video for the song “eazy tribe”, which was created by Kento Mori, will be released at noon on the distribution day.
