SANABAGUN. announces suspension of activities. Announcement of next activities will be on January 8, 2027.

SANABAGUN. has announced that they will be suspending their activities.

Ryo Takaiwa (Vo.), Toshiki Iwama (MC), Ippei Sawamura (Drs.), Taiga Tanimoto (Sax.), Koichi Takahashi (Tp.), Ryozo Obayashi (Ba.), Yudai Ohi (Key.), SANABAGUN. is an eight-member group consisting of Kazuki Isogai (Gt.). The band will enter a period of hiatus with their one-man live “8XL” to be held at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo on Friday, June 21st, and event appearances scheduled for September. Furthermore, each member is actively pursuing solo activities as musicians, and this will not change even after the band’s activities have been suspended.

The band will also announce their next activities on Friday, January 8, 2027.

Thank you for your continued support of SANABAGUN. and my individual solo activities.

After forming SANABAGUN., it was always at the center of our lives, and we continued to run with it as a base in everything we did for 10 years.

The coming period will be a period for me to “stop, see what I can see, and discover new possibilities for myself.”

I have come this far with everyone’s support. Thanks to this experience, I have been able to think in many different ways.

I am grateful.

SANABAGUN celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. Personally, I can say that I spent most of my 20s at Sanaba, and during those 10 years, many of my encounters and experiences revolved around Sanaba.
Before I knew it, living with Sanaba was a normal part of my life, and my desire to continue to be that way has not changed.

In order to continue this normal life, I would like to experience something extraordinary for a short period of time.

Thank you for your support over the past 10 years.

For me, Sanaba is like a “home” that I can come back to anytime. Living together with 8 people is a lot of fun, but we can’t stay inside the house all the time. Sometimes traveling is necessary.

As I said at the beginning, Sanaba is a “home”. When the 8 of us return, please join us again in our eternal youth.
