The circuit event “AVYSS Circle 2024” will be held in the Shimokitazawa area of Tokyo on June 8th (Saturday), divided into day and night. All performers, over 60 in total, have been announced at once, and various early bird tickets are on sale starting today.
Indie, hip-hop, emo, electronic, ambient, nerd, witch ritual, sound clash battle – this event encompasses sensations that transcend today’s categories from an “AVYSS” perspective. The event will be held for the second time in about two years since the first event in 2022, and will simultaneously use five floors in four venues scattered around Shimokitazawa, including the underground and second floor floors of THREE, BASEMENTBAR, SPREAD, and CREAM. will be carried out. Each of the five floors has its own core category and mood, but they gradually connect and blend into each other.The visuals and logos personify the mood of each floor.Kanikumitoiis in charge.
While there will be live performances by many artists and DJs, on the second floor of Day’s CREAM, a sound bath by modern witch Goddess Experience will be held for an hour. During this time, you are not allowed to enter or leave the room early, so please make up your mind before entering. This sound bath is a trance-inducing ritual in which participants embark on a journey to find the next Summer of Love. And at THREE night, the sound clash battle party “AVYSS Cup” will be revived as an event within the event, also for the first time in two years. This time, the theme is “noisy” and the performers will perform special performances for this day. Each person will perform their own interpretation of “noisai,” and the audience will decide the winner. The winner will receive an increase in compensation.
