Sendai-based rapper Plain Jay releases new song “Only One Jay” Title song of next mixtape

Sendai-based rapper Plain Jay released his new single “Only One Jay” today, May 10th (Friday).

Plain Jay, who forms the collective S4L with his younger brother, rapper Huncho Fox, is a rapper who combines serious scenes and emotional depictions with rough lyrics, mixed with freaky vocalizations and an offbeat flow. He has been actively releasing works since around 2021, and has so far released the solo mixtape “Too Hard: The Collection” and EP “Frozen 2”, as well as the collaborative mixtape “Slime” with S4L rapper ¥OUNG ARM¥. 4 Life 2” and other works. Also, in 2023, he will appear on the audition program “Rap Star Birth”. His unique personality attracted attention.

“Only One Jay” is the lead single from the upcoming mixtape “Only One Jay.” In addition to the music video, a performance video was also released on the popular domestic hip-hop YouTube channel “03-Performance”, making it a song that has been eagerly awaited for official distribution. The song is an emotional song with lyrics that reveal conflict and determination, set on a serious trap beat that producer Nova was inspired by Plain Jay in “Birth of a Rap Star.”

Mixing and mastering was handled by KaworuMF, a producer from Fukushima who belongs to S4L. The artwork was created by Wise Graphics, the same as “Slime 4 Life 2”.
