ROTH BART BARON releases new song “Hanafubuki” & premieres MV

ROTH BART BARON released his new single “Hanafubuki” today, November 6th (Wednesday).

This work marks the 10th anniversary of the release of their first album, ROTH BART BARON’S “The Ice Age,” and is part of their nationwide tour “ROTH BART BARON’S 10th Anv.” A song inspired by “TOUR 2024-2025 / Ice Age: Melt and Blooms”. While the horns and strings are naturally integrated with the band’s sound image, the song was recorded and edited using analog equipment at Mifune’s home studio, BEAR BASE, resulting in a unique song with a bedroom pop feel. It has become.

The music video, which will be premiered today at 21:00, was directed by Daichi Yasuda, a video artist who has worked with them on commercials and video works for all 10 songs from their previous album “8”. Actor Nairu Yamamoto appears together with Mifune, and the video is said to be like a short film that marks the beginning of a new chapter for ROTH BART BARON.

The nationwide tour, which will begin in November, is scheduled to include 18 performances across the country, including a “with strings” formation that includes a string quartet in addition to a band, Masaya Mifune’s solo formation, and a band formation. “Ice Age: Melt and Blooms” = Enjoy this winter while listening to “Hanafubuki”, which can be called the theme song of the tour after the ice melts.
