NENE and hidenka announce the second installment of classical x hip-hop collaboration performance “Symphonic Rap”


The second line-up for the concert/live show “Symphonic Rap – Challenging the Uncharted Territory of Classical and Rap -” which will fuse classical music and hip-hop, to be held at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on Wednesday, July 17th, has been announced. It was done.

“Symphonic Rap” is a music event planned and produced by author/producer/talkative culture monster Reiko Yuyama. This is a unique project that fuses two music genres: classical and hip-hop.

In the first round, rappers Ryobu Karma, Naruyoshi Kikuchi, Shito, and from the classical world, Keitaro Harada was the conductor, and performances by the Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo were announced, but this time, NENE (Yurufuwa Gang) and Hidenka will be performing. Participation was announced. NENE will rap on Ryuichi Sakamoto’s “Anger – from untitled 01” and Hidenka will rap on the first song “Mars: God of War” from Holst’s Suite “Planets” Op. 32.
