Thai artist Pyra released her new single “naughty AI feat. Haru Nemuri” today, January 24th (Friday).
The two also collaborated on Harunemuri’s single “Don’t make love vow” released at the end of last year. While his previous work was created with a critical perspective on the institution of marriage, this work delves into the complexity of the interaction between humans and AI, exploring themes of objectification, domination, and desire. A provocative depiction of a sentient AI that manipulates and exploits human users. It is a timely work that encourages listeners to question the ethical implications of developing AI technology.
In addition, Harunemuri recently announced that she would become independent in order to “practice more DIY and anarchic production activities.” While more free activities are expected this year, the official online store will also open from today. Since she started her career in 2016, she has always released her products only at live concert venues, but with the new online store, you can now purchase Harunemuri’s CDs, records, and official merchandise from anywhere. Additionally, with the opening of the official store, limited edition stickers will be given to those who purchase items until February 10th (Monday).
Furthermore, it has been announced that Haru Nemuri and THA BLUE HERB will be holding a one-man live show on March 7th (Friday) at Omotesando WALL & WALL in Tokyo. Check them out as well.
