AWOL CARTEL, mainly featuring NF Zessho and RAITAMEN, releases EP “A TAPE”

AWOL CARTEL, a group centered around NF Zessho and RAITAMEN, released their EP “A TAPE” today, November 20th (Wednesday).

AWOL CARTEL is said to be a group of “weak ties” (weak ties, loose connections) that naturally arose from being drawn to each other’s skills and values. NF Zessho, RAITAMEN, and Yuya Sato often shout in their songs, but the details of “AWOL” were not revealed for many years, but the reality of “AWOL” has finally been revealed.

Its origins date back to 2010, when the relationship between music and the internet was not as close as it is today, and artists who were ahead of their time in creating and presenting their works online were drawn together one by one and started playing together. It all started when we started collaborating on production as an extension of the project.

Due to their nature, the members are still scattered all over Japan, and NF Zessho and Pitch Odd continue to be active as members of Oll Korrect and as solo artists. Initial members such as RAITAMEN and Yuya Sato from Mansion, NIHA-C from Denpa Shoujo, banken, CLASPA, provisional 69, and narikinboy will be joined by new members such as anpyo, who is closely related, and painter wam, who will be working on the artwork for this work. It is said that they have reunited with the members to create a new work.

Jinmenusagi will be participating in this work as a guest performer. A total of 6 songs are included with sound production by Sweet William, dhrma, and Ballhead.
