Collaboration EP by CRZKNY and JANKA released from Prague’s cutting-edge label

Collaboration EP “YUKU046” by CRZKNY and JANKA is released on an electronic music label in Prague, Czech Republic.It was released on Thursday, November 21st.

JANKA is an experimental dub unit consisting of Piotr Kaliński, also known as Hatti Vatti, and Daniel Szlajnda, who are not only active in Poland, but have also released releases from the prestigious R&S in recent years. CRZKNY, on the other hand, is known for his most provocative songs and live performances in the footwork and experience music scene both domestically and internationally, and is also widely known as a member of THEATER1, a minimal footwork unit with DJ Fultono.

The relationship between the two began when JANKA came to Japan last year and was inspired by CRZKNY’s sound. After that, they spontaneously sent materials to each other, scraping and polishing the space, crystallizing each other’s aesthetics, and as a result, a collection of minimal dub footwork works was completed.

The songs on the album are named “Kaori,” “Gutai,” and “Kurumi,” and the worldview of this work is visually expressed through artwork based on pixel art by PX Ceremony. Be sure to experience this work, which is a fusion of highly honed senses.

In addition to being distributed on various platforms, this work is also available for pre-order on vinyl at YUKU’s Bandcamp.
