Break core unit ethenal ethereal city by Amuxax and ikill releases 1st EP

Ethenal ethereal city, the breakout core unit consisting of Amuxax (distortion) and ikill (samejima), released their 1st EP “Eternal Heaven” today, November 23rd (Saturday).

Amuxax, an artist who gained attention with his debut album “endandstart,” and ikill, who is active in various places as a producer and DJ, are allies who have risen to prominence on SoundCloud since the pandemic and have shared the stage at performances such as “DEMONIA” and “Babi Fest.”

ethereal ethereal city was formed by two people from the same hometown to develop an “imaginary city” under the avatars distortion (Amuxax) and samejima (ikill) due to the feeling of confinement they felt while commuting back and forth between the countryside and Tokyo. Ta. In addition to releasing their first single, “Tokyo Imaginary Girl,” they have also been scheduled to perform at “Tanoshiihi,” an event co-hosted by “liQuid” and Tokyo’s Shinjuku SPACE in November.

This work, “Eternal Heaven,” takes cues from the breakcore revival of the Internet in the 2020s, and depicts a fictional city that interweaves distant illusions of the city of Tokyo with the zero-distance despair perceived by two people. Expand the space. In the image of a city that is broken, patched together, cracked, sewn together, and broken again, we see an eternity that is neither real nor heavenly.

While traveling back and forth between Tokyo and my hometown in the countryside, I felt a sense of confinement and suffocation that neither of us could shake.
When I returned to my hometown, Ikill and I got in the car and we drove through an industrial area that looked like the backdrop of a digital game, but even though we were driving through an industrial area that looked like the backdrop of a digital game, it felt like we weren’t going anywhere.
In the streets of Tokyo, the LCD screens on the various buildings are shining like stars, and there are people everywhere you look. There’s everything here, but nothing more.
Whenever and wherever we are, we are trapped in something like a heavy veil, unable to escape from this town or this world. So I decided to create a fictional city.
The city’s public works are constantly destroying and rebuilding the world with sound. Anyone can come and go, regardless of race or ideology. This city is connected through music that does not involve language, and you can close your eyes to everything. However, we cannot guarantee that this is a place of peace.

The 1st EP “Eternal Heaven” is about a girl who believes that this town is heaven.
She and I both remember the intense heartbeat and peace of mind as we dream in the muddy waters of the BPM sound that makes our hearts feel like they’re about to jump out. Is this really heaven? Where will this sound data take us? Only that towering radio tower knows.
