tamanaramen releases short video for latest song “naminokatachi”

tamanaramen, who is based in Tokyo and London, has released a short video for their latest single “naminokatachi” released in October.

This work is based on the theme of memories before birth. This is a short video work that attempts to express in film the coldness, warmth, and unique sense of temperature that I remember from when I was in amniotic fluid. The production was handled by member Hana Watanabe, a video artist.

Along with the release of the short video, a playlist “meeting at the fountain” related to “naminokatachi” was also released. I would like you to take a look at the temperature and mood at the beginning of this cold winter.

The sound you hear underwater is muffled, and it’s dull when you hear it in a bath or pool, for example. Even though the sound has become duller, my body feels a little lighter at that moment. In connection with this, I created the work by thinking about the time before birth, which seems to be an incredibly large time when you can’t see anything, and the lonely time when no one knows about you.
