Morito Asai releases new song “SPEC” under his solo name for the first time in about 2 years

Morito Asai released his new single “SPEC” today, November 29th (Friday).

In addition to being known as a member of DENYEN Toshi, which is currently on hiatus, in recent years he has made his presence known through his activities in the unit Yosano with safmusic, and guest performances in works by who28, JIANG SHIDAO & aura yamato, etc.

This is his first new song under his solo name in about two years, and it is a song that depicts him struggling with various problems caused by self-loathing, but affirming himself as he is and inspiring him. Also pay attention to the realistic, cinematic lyrics that make you look into the world through Morito Asai’s eyes.

The track was co-produced with Hope, who also worked with DENYEN City. In contrast to the dynamic trumpet, the light piano arrangement conveys a sense of wavering conflict and the will to step forward.
