SKRYU x ESME MORI remake Junichi Inagaki's "When it's a Christmas Carol"

Rapper SKRYU and producer/SSW ESME MORI remade Junichi Inagaki’s famous song “Christmas Carol Koro wa.” It will be released on December 9th (Monday) as “When Christmas Carol Comes COCKTAIL SOUNDS MIX feat. Original Vocal by Junichi Inagaki”.

“Christmas Carol no Koro wa”, whose lyrics were written by Yasushi Akimoto and composed by Makoto Mitsui, has been a popular song during the Christmas season for over 30 years since its release in 1992. This time, a project to “spread” and revive past masterpieces and modern trends, transmit them to the world, and “spread” them.『COCKTAIL SOUNDS』A remake of the same song was realized as the first work by Cocktail Sounds (also known as #Kakusan).

In this work, the chorus part uses original vocals by Junichi Inagaki, and the other parts are replaced with rap by SKRYU. The arrangement was handled by ESME MORI, who is also active as an SSW and has also worked on works by chelmico, Nishina, Sala, ao, etc. The result is a fusion of pop music representative of the 90s and modern sounds.
