Billyrrom releases collaboration song and MV with Taiwanese ally Wendy Wander

The collaborative single “Nightglow Dreamer” by Billyrrom and Taiwanese five-member band Wendy Wander (溫蒂MAN步) was released today, December 4th (Wednesday). A music video was also released at the same time.

Billyrrom, whose first album “WiND” released in September of this year was a hot topic, and Wendy Wander, who has attracted attention with her urban mellow pop sound and held her first Japan tour in April of this year. The two groups first met in September last year when members of Billyrrom visited “Emerge Fest. Japan”, a festival where bands from Japan and Taiwan perform, which was held at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE in Shibuya, Tokyo, and were impressed by Wendy Wander’s live performance. It started from there.

Afterwards, in response to Wendy Wander’s request, Billyrrom accompanied them to all of the performances on the aforementioned Japan tour, and they deepened their friendship. Later, when Billyrrom was performing at a festival in Taichung, they had a playful session at Wendy Wander’s studio, and the prototype for this work was born, and from then on, the work was completed through repeated exchanges of data.

The song is set to an airy funk-disco sound driven by an anthemic guitar riff, and the lyrics are sung in three languages: English, Japanese, and Taiwanese Mandarin, with the theme of “once in a lifetime.” The music video is like a road movie in which Billyrrom travels around Taiwan with Wendy Wander.
