Halves releases 2nd EP “VI (fancy)” and releases “Firefly :)” MV by lilsom

Bedroom pop band Halves released their 2nd EP “VI (fancy)” today, December 4th (Wednesday).

This work is composed of a group of six characters. The young and impulsive “GIVE ME A BREAK!”, the ambiguous popness of “Firefly :)”, the strong self of “Transpose”, and next to it, “Interlude (daydream)” depicts a wide open world of harmony. are. It is a work that embellishes the sound that has evolved from the previous album “Only to Wave” with a DIY sense of playfulness.

Additionally, the music video for the song “Firefly:)” has been released. The video was directed by lilsom, who has worked on works such as Tohji, Mega Shinnosuke, and For Tracy Hyde.

Furthermore, a release party will be held tomorrow, December 5th (Thursday) at Shimokitazawa LIVEHAUS in Tokyo. Guest appearances include safmusic, VQ, Tsujii Kunue, Hoshinooto, and suisuisuicide. Same age, same hometown, same school – it’s a day that brings together all the connections we’ve made thus far.
