Noryu holds a 5-hour one-man live to commemorate new release

Noryu will hold a release party for their 2nd album “For Damage” and 1.5th album “Estuary” at Shimokitazawa SPREAD in Tokyo on Wednesday, December 25th.

Noryu is a fluid community where people meet, create sounds, and have conversations. Formed in 2022, currently includes Hyozo (hYouU€a) on keyboard/harp, Hajime Orikawa on Indian flute/harp, Shota Mizuno on bass, Kosuke Sasaki on koto/guitar, and Nie on piano/percussion/photography/engineering. As a session community centered on , it is active mainly in Tokyo and Chiba prefecture.

In addition to conducting improvisational performance workshops with people who have no experience with musical instruments, session events, and live performances at galleries, he also creates music centered around ambient music.

Takuro Okada, Hajime Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple), JC (noon), Wakana Ikeda, etc. participated, and artists such as Centripetal Force (US), Ramble (Australia), Cardinal Fuzz (UK), and Landscape Planning 〉 (Japan) 2nd album jointly released by labels in 4 countries “For Damage”

Their 1.5th album “Estuary”, which has a strong new age feel, was released by the independent label “Zenkei Keikaku”, which has a unique aesthetic sense, and has received high praise from domestic and international artists such as Felbm.

This performance commemorating the release of both works will feature a 5-hour set that is the culmination of Noryu’s work to date. At the venue, the completely unreleased new album “After the Acid Rain” will be released in advance, as well asRuriko TsukishimaLiquid Light by Shop“Love & Life”There will be performances such as a free audience participation set, a reproduction set of “Estuary” and “For Damage,” and a Heavy Psych set.
