Collaboration song by Nulbarich, Sunny, and UMI to be released from Pokemon Music Project

The collaboration single “Lucky” by Nulbarich, Sunny, and UMI from the music project “Pokémon Music Collective” will be released on Friday, May 24th.

“Pokémon Music Collective” released a CD last September based on the concept of delivering new music to the world based on the game sounds of the “Pokémon” series. This is a new song from the same project, and SSW’s JQ is in charge of total production. Nulbarich, a band led by JQ and active both domestically and internationally, teamed up with Sunny, a popular producer who works with many top artists including K-POP/J-POP, and the single “Wherever ur” co-starred with BTS’s V was a hit. This work features UMI, an American-born Japanese artist who has suddenly gained attention, as a guest.

This song is a dream collaboration between up-and-coming artists/producers from Japan and the United States, and the chill and relaxing track is combined with UMI and JQ’s tender vocals to create a comfortable groove. As Nulbarich’s frontman JQ says, “When I think of Pokémon, the melody of Pokémon Center, which has remained the same since the beginning, comes to mind.” The BGM of the Pokémon Center, a facility where you can recover your physical strength, is an impressive hook.

The artwork for the single features characters inspired by the three artists JQ, Sunny, and UMI, as well as Pokemon such as Lucky, whose name is the same as the song’s title, Dragapult, and Empelt, reflecting the relationships between the three artists and Pokemon. It is an interesting visual.

In addition, a limited production LP containing 6 songs in total will be released on the same day, May 24th (Wednesday), which includes this song as an additional addition to the 5 songs included in the CD “Pokémon Music Collective” released last year. . Check this out as well.
