The Korean four-person band Silica Gel (실리카겔) will be holding a performance in Japan on June 26th (Wednesday) at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo.

Silica Gel is a band that is currently very popular and talented in the Korean music scene. This performance is planned and invited by “BiKN,” a project that held Japan’s first Asian music showcase in November last year and invited 20 groups from various Asian countries.

After releasing their latest album “POWER ANDRE 99” in December last year, they won a total of three awards at the Korean Popular Music Awards, including “Musician of the Year”. They have gained a wide range of support beyond traditional indie bands, and their two-day solo performance at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul (approximately 4,000 people) to be held in May of this year has already been completed. Silica Gel is gaining a lot of attention, with additional performances announced.

Last year’s performance at “BiKN shibuya” is still fresh in our memories, but this time, at the band’s request, betcover!!, a rock band led by Jiro Yanase, made a guest appearance. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 20:00 today, April 17th (Wednesday). Don’t miss this valuable performance, which will only be available for one night.
