Shu, the guitarist/vocalist for ego apartment, has started a solo project. Their 1st single “Movie Like ni” was released today, December 18th (Wednesday).
Shu has captivated many listeners with his extraordinary melody sense and singing voice. In this new challenge, he aims to explore the world of music and express himself more freely than ever before. Their first single, “Like a Movie,” focuses on the memories that people somehow have, and has the theme of accelerating the passing of time like a frame in a movie. The result is a refreshing song that allows you to enjoy the familiarity of the Japanese lyrics with each instrument having a small number of sounds and a strong presence. All lyrics, composition, and recording were done by myself.
Also, the music video is scheduled to be released today at 17:00. Shu himself handled the planning, photography, and direction of this movie.
